Judges/investors will dig deep into the business and consider:
1. Innovativeness of the business. A more out of the box business solution is more likely to go to the next level.
2. The need for such a business within the local and Khoja community. Is it something that will really solve a major problem?
3. The scope for growth. How realistic the forecasts are realistic or are they without strong basis? do the forecasts predict a healthy growth for the business?
4. Creation of empowerment through jobs. Is the business going to in future create jobs for fellow khojas?
5. Lean business. Are the resources being deployed maximizing production while minimzing costs?
6. Marketting tools. Is the product/service well marketted on social media and other platforms.
7. Commitment to Khums.The business should already be paying khums and/or have a plan for khums payment/calculation.
8. Miscellaneous : Case studies and other relevant examples to reinstate the business
Conditions applied:
1. It should be a registered business, business registration certificate should be attached as proof.
2. Participant should be operating within AFED domain and should be a member of khoja jamaat.
3. Operating business should be less than 2 years.
Each participant will present in turn and 5 out of the 10 will be shortlisted for round 3.
